Do you like spirit boards? Our society is a little mixed on the subject. Some of the ladies think they make lovely Halloween decorations. However, there was the incident with Lurva LaRue who accidentally nudged the planchette of one and ended up in a screaming match with someone from beyond the veil. The argument? She was not prepared to take on the responsibility of being a ghostly telegraph message deliverer when she had a hard enough time keeping up correspondence with her own kids!
