The Wormwood Queen

The Wormwood Queen

The Wormwood Queen (a.k.a. Kate Henriot-Jauw) is our fabulous maker of teas. She crafted each of her original Society recipes to fit different characters and events in our Snapdragon Tea stories. She is not only known for her tasty teas, but is a vastly creative artist who, along side of her husband Ted, has completely embraced an artist’s life. From her wormwood queen site bio:

“Kate Henriott-Jauw is an artist, witch and mom to seven amazing children. She is currently working on the Goddess Emergence Project and soon to be released Surcadian Oracle. Kate has been awakening and activating the goddess within herself and others ever since her now grown daughter asked her about witches and wizards many years ago.

“She decided to shed the costume, drop the props and walk off the stage of suburbia to reclaim herself and has never looked back. Through her journey of awakenings including her loss of family as she knew it, loss of her home, loss of her business and escaping domestic abuse she has discovered that the Goddess is very real and lives within each one of us.”

Outside of the Society Kate has a variety of projects and events that she’s currently working on. You can see Kate in action through her Witch in the Kitchen series. Take a moment to see some of the events she’s been apart of. Or just visit thewormwoodqueen.com to get to know her better. Below are a few samples of her art, books, and projects.
